The 3010i 5.1 Cinema Pack is identical to the Q Acoustics bundle above but with a second pair of 3010i stand mounts swapped in for the front right and left channels. The speakers’ hi-fi roots are immediately apparent, focusing on detail, dramatic expressiveness, and a firm sense of rhythm. This is an excellent sub-grand package for individuals who enjoy a cinematic experience but don’t have the space for floor standers.

7. Monitor Audio Silver 200 AV12

Monitor Audio Silver 200 AV12

The Silver 200s, the smallest of three pairs of floor-standing speakers in Monitor Audio’s long-running Silver series, are the star of this surround system. Despite the 200 in the package’s name, the Silver C150 center speaker, Silver FX surround speakers, and Silver W-12 subwoofer share the stage with three equally capable protagonists outdoor speakers.

Crashes, bangs, and wallops are thrown at the listener as if thrown about the room with great cohesiveness, as each speaker matches the nature of the others. The product as a whole runs with military precision, relentlessly pushing forward.

We rarely endorse a speaker system for its stereo and surround sound capabilities, but with the Monitor Audio Silvers, you get both for the price of one.

8. Elac Debut 2.0 5.1 Home Theatre Speakers System

Elac Debut 2.0 5.1 Home Theatre System

This surround system combines two pairs of five-star stereo speakers – the brilliant Debut 2.0 F5.2 floorstanders and Debut 2.0 B5.2 standmounts – with a similarly talented center speaker and sub for one of the most composed, detailed, and well-matched systems we’ve heard at this price. For an even more immersive auditory experience, Dolby Atmos topping speakers are also available.

We’d gladly spend as much time as possible watching our favorite movie sequences only to hear what this speaker system is capable of. Their sound design is delicate, smart, and silky, resulting in a tremendously open and detailed soundstage, which is what genuine cinema sound is all about. They quickly immerse you in action, so you nearly forget about the speakers.

9. KEF Q350 AV 5.1

KEF Q350 AV 5.1

If space isn’t an issue, you might consider this fantastic KEF setup. Of course, the speakers’ aural ability earned them a five-star rating, but the KEF Q350 5.1 package’s muscular stature and physical power over our listening space can’t be overlooked. It’s not one for a modest bed and breakfast.

It’s vast and bold, and the sound is equally so: you’ll be treated to a stunningly immersive experience, with the speakers and sub-working together to create a superbly unified sound field. And while the bass is robust, it is never overdone, resulting in a sound that is never muddy or coloured. You will not be disappointed if you take the risk.

10. Dali Spektor 2 5.1

Dali Spektor 2 5.1

It combines a quartet of Spektor 2 stand mount speakers with the Spektor Vokal center speaker and the small-yet-mighty Sub-C-8 D subwoofer, all of which have won awards in their own right.

It’s a quick, detailed jbl speakers, and gratifyingly engaging listen, with plenty of scales provided by the sub. The perfect sense of timing allows for a beautiful cinematic experience, and the dialogue has a warmth that is regrettably lost in many systems.

11. Triangle Borea BR08 speaker package

Triangle Borea BR08 speaker package

The BR08 5.1 speaker combination includes a pair of 3-way, front-ported BR08 towers, two dual-driver BR03 stand mounters, and the Tales 340 subwoofer (the cheapest in Triangle’s four-strong sub line), and finally, the 2-way BRC1 center speaker. This surround sound system may be upgraded to 5.1.2 or 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos capability by adding BRA1 height surround units (£349 / $599 / AU$900 per pair).

The Borea BR08 5.1 surround speaker package is an attractive and impressively cinematic surround speaker package at an affordable price. If you add the optional height units, you’ll have one of the most convincing Atmos performances we’ve heard without the need for ceiling rigging.

Triangle recommends positioning both the floor standers and the bookshelf speakers 40cm from a rear wall, and more than 50cm from the sides in rooms between 20-40m squared in size, with the most significant speakers, the BR08, working best in areas between 20-40m squared in size. The BR08, in particular, has a robust bottom end, which, although front-ported, is influenced by proximity to the wall. We recommend updating the subs if you can, as the Tales 340 isn’t up to par with the rest of the system. However, as a whole, the kit provides excellent, dynamic surround sound at a reasonable price.

12. Dynaudio Evoke 50 5.1

Dynaudio Evoke 50 5.1

By most people’s standards, Evoke is a high-end product, although it’s only halfway up Dynaudio’s line. Evoke benefits from new improvements in driver design. That was initially employed in its even more expensive predecessors. Thanks to the Danish brand’s ‘pay it forward approaches to high-end technology. This gives the Evoke a tenacious, quality sound that is constant throughout the frequency spectrum and rhythmically taut, with a prominent nimble bottom end.

Dynaudio’s 50 floorstanders, Evoke 25C center speaker, and two Evoke 10 bookshelf speakers. And the sealed-box Sub 6 make up the system. Despite their size, the cabinets are clean, and the basic design allows them to fit into most areas. Every minute detail helps the Evoke system elegantly take its place, from the gently curved front corners and tapering trapezoid shape of the MDF cabinets to the contrasting matt black’screwless’ drivers and beautiful crystalline lacquer. It is one of the best home theatre speakers of 2022.

13. Jamo S 807 HCS

Jamo S 807 HCS

At this price, a 7.1 Dolby Atmos package appears too good to be true. But it’s not only a great deal; it’s also an elegant, compact setup – so tiny that Jamo recommends hiding the subwoofer under the sofa. How’s that for ease of use?

The sound is lively and full-bodied, and the bass end, while a tad faint. It is sufficient for all but the pickiest home theatre audiophiles. If that’s the case, you’ll gladly pay a little more for a smoother sound. But the Jamo is still a good value and use bookshelf speakers.

14. Fyne Audio F302 AV

Fyne Audio F302 AV

This is the first Fyne Audio product to which we haven’t given five stars. Although that’s more due to the competition than anything to do with the package’s capabilities. The F302 floorstanders retain the wow effect that sent them to the top of our Awards list. Complementing the F300 stand mount surrounds and F300C center nicely tower speakers.

Indeed, it’s a capable system that manages to be quick and nimble while still enthusiastic. The F3-8 subwoofer delivers a lot of bass weight without compromising pace or detail dolby atmosphere speakers. You’ll only have to ensure it’s paired with a capable home theatre amplifier and home theatre installation.
